Surprisingly, the performance of B.M.S of Kurohanagyu is outstanding. The flavor depends on the consistency of amino acids in the red part of the meat. Ranches where Our Pride of Kurohanagyu grows

Here is a pleasant environment for our cattle to live comfortably. We have distinctive technology to raise the best cattle, an accurate and strict control system, and skilled staff who are excellent at each field—Yatake Ranch, where all the essentials are gathered to raise the top quality of Kurohanagyu.

Top Size of the Ranch in Japan Yatake ranch is situated in the center of the Kyushu mountains, surrounded by green-rich forest. Yatake forest is a mother having underground mineral water. Although Japan’s Summer is sweltering and humid, there is a cool and calm climate on Yatake, which is suitable for raising black cattle. Yatake ranch is one of the biggest breeding bases in Japan, raising babies from 5,000 cows for breeding.

We believe cattle itself must be healthy to produce excellent and safe beef. We leave babies and mothers together for a certain period. The babies can grow by genuine mother milk that fertilizes babies’ immune systems, which is essential for getting a solid body. More than anything, babies can grow more stress-freely and healthier by living with their mothers.

There is spring water called ‘Mother Water’ in Yatake. It is clean and tasty mineral water. Everyone, including workers in Yatake, cows, and babies, drinks this water and lives under this premium water blessed by nature.

Delicious Meat depends on what you feed

According to current studies, the content amount of Unsaturated fatty acids, especially Oleic acid, dominates tasty meat. Protect from Vitamin A deficiency. Take good care of each cattle stress-freely. The feed for Kurohanagyu is optimized by balancing cooked and raw ingredients and granularity distribution and adding yeast. These are our contributions learned from years of trial-and-error experience to prevent quitting meals. It enables cattle to have high-quality meat containing much Oleic acid.

Disinfection, 365 days

We do disinfection every day: we thoroughly clean cattle barns and other facilities and tools used by cattle and humans. Keeping clean is the most important to maintain health. You taste KUROHANA WAGYU grown in a safe and clean environment on your table!

Our Latest Fattening Base, ‘Yatake Second Ranch’

This ranch was newly built in 2020, following JGAP standards and putting effort towards a comfortable raising environment. The giant land over 11 hectares consists of 14 solid rebar barns, accommodating 4500 cattle at once. We have installed the latest automatic feeding robot that offers perfect feed distribution calculated for each growth.

Our Processing Plant

Our Confident Processing Plant pursued World Safety Standards

Our processing plant is built against the strictest export standard, owning the latest technology and system, which assure the world safety standard. For hygiene, we implement section arrangement and unification of work line flow to prevent cross-contamination over zones. The Air pressure control system avoids the backflow of dust. The floor is made of granite, which is durable, and easy to clean. The system, such as a dehumidifier, controls the room humidity to prevent condensation.

We started as a meat wholesale at the beginning of the company’s history since its foundation in 1947; however, we do consistently from breeding, fattening, and manufacturing to sales today. We are expanding the business because of the unstable Wagyu supply to consumers due to aging farmer resources or an increase in imported beef. We have aimed flexible company management to generational shifts, under our philosophy “Delivering Safe・Comfort・High Quality with Trust to the table,” and from now on.

We started selling our original high-qualitative brand beef, ‘KUROHANA WAGYU’ in 2007. Thanks to everyone, our KUROHANA WAGYU has grown as a top brand. We have obtained integrated production to answer the appreciative demand increase, including over 50 of our own-running ranches with more than 20,000 black cattle. In 2020, we acquired HACCAP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point), JGAP (Japan Good Agricultural Practice), also FSSC22000 (Food Safety System Certification) to relieve concerns about the food and environmental security of both our domestic and overseas consumers.

Also, in 2020, we constructed a new beef processing factory that meets the s world safety standard; and we installed the latest mechanics, such as automatic feeding robots, to pursue stable supply and performance efficiency. On the other hand, we have been willingly engaged in new product development, for instance, ‘Kurohanagyu Beef Curry.’
